Artist Jade de LaFleur’s sings about a relationship gone wrong in her new single, “Toxic.”
In the video, viewers get up close and personal with the singer/songwriter as she serenades the camera about her toxic love affair.
de LaFleur said a bad breakup inspired the song:
“I was also going through a breakup at the time … something that I wanted to last, but that I also knew probably shouldn’t. “Toxic” was everything I was feeling at the time, and I wanted to write, release, and let go!”
Filed in just two hours, “Toxic” was shot on location at the Southdown Plantation in de LaFleur’s Louisiana hometown.
“I remember always being drawn into its beauty and then also acknowledging it as a plantation,” de LaFleur said. “So I’ve always wanted to shoot there, reclaim it, and turn around what that memory would be and feel like to me, for me and mine.”

In his upcoming 6-part documentary-series Don’t F**k This Up, Kevin Hart is giving fans unprecedented access to his personal life over the past year. As evidenced in a brand new trailer dropped by Netflix, viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the comedian’s day-to-day life as he deals with the fallout from the Oscar controversy, his marriage, and his career.
In one clip from this preview, we see Kev’s wife Eniko in tears talking about what we all assume to be his latest cheating scandal. “You publicly humiliated me,” she says in the trailer. “I just kept saying, “How the f*** did you let that happen?”

Michael B. Jordan Talks About His Upcoming Film, Just Mercy
Michael B. Jordan stopped by The Tonight Show on Monday night to chop it up with Jimmy Fallon, and while he was there, he gave the host a cupcake made with love by his own mother. That’s when he revealed that he teamed up with Sprinkles cupcakes to feature his mom’s famous rum cake recipe on their holiday menu, in which a portion of the proceeds will go to helping fight Lupus.

Netflix’s You Gets An Official Trailer For Season 2
Just as enough time has passed for us all to heal over the creepiness that went down in the first season, Netflix has come out with an official trailer for season 2 of their original series, You.
The description for the second installment of the show reads, “Meet Will Bettelheim. He’s not your regular Joe. He’s new to LA and has sworn off love. But love, like murder, has a way of tracking you down.” It’s hard to imagine how much more havoc Joe…er, Will can wreak this time around–but it looks like he’s got himself a brand new identity and he’s ready to f*** up the lives of women in a whole new city.

NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series is a favorite among music fans, and now, we’ve got another edition to add to the list of great performances.
The latest artist to take the office was Raphael Saadiq, who appeared as a part of the publication’s four-night series of extended concerts, Tiny Desk Fest. Saqdiq performs somes of his smoothest joints for almost 40 minutes as he’s joined by Lucky Daye for a seriously good time.

Roddy Rich Talks Kendrick Lamar, Nipsey Hussle & New Album The Breakfast Club
Roddy Rich is another fresh face dominating the hip-hop gang straight from the west coast. The LA native has had a prolific freshman year. He blessed the cover of XXL’s freshman class issue and might be the MVP of the cover. He’s dominating radio from summer 2018 with his hit “Die Young” all the way until now with his hit featuring DJ Mustard “Balling”. Roddy is even Grammy-nominated with his mentor and friend the late Nipsey Hussle for their effort “Racks In The Middle”. Roddy was one of the artists that Nipsey Hussle would be seen with and wholeheartedly supported in their come up.
Recently Roddy dropped his debut album “Please Excuse Me For Being Anti-Social” and dropped by The Breakfast Club this week to promote the project. During his stop, Roddy talked with Charlamange The God & Dj Envy about several different topics you might not expect from a newer hiphop artist.
He explains in the interview his recent Instagram post with Kendrick Lamar and that he linked up not to try and get a feature but to get real life advice on becoming popular and how to invest. Roddy cites knowing Kendrick not coming out of the house much let him know he was a person he could consult for advice that wouldn’t lie. This is pretty accurate, no one who stays out the way is going to pop up to lie to you or steer you wrong. The interview also touches on his pain about the loss of Nipsey Hussle due to gun violence in Roddy and Nip’s home state of California. Roddy cites Nipsey as one of the few real people and reveals when he learned of his passing and how he coped with the loss.
