Fan Banned By NBA Files $100 Million Lawsuit Against Russell Westbrook And Jazz

The nerve of these people!

Earlier this year BOSSIP reported on an incident that took place between a racist Utah Jazz fan and then-Thunder baller Russell Westbrook. The fan, Shane Keisel, reportedly told Westbrook to “get down on your knees like you’re used to” which prompted brodie to reply “I’ll f**k up you and your wife”. Shane was subsequently banned from all Utah Jazz games permanently by the NBA.

Today, we report that Shane, like many white men who can’t stomach the thought of being restricted from anywhere much less a majority Black space, is playing the victim like he just got cast in the new Rosewood reboot.

According to The Salt Lake Tribune, Shane and his girlfriend Jennifer Huff are now suing Westbrook AND the Jazz for, wait for it…$100 million! The bogus a$$ lawsuit suggests that Shane was only engaging in “typical” crowd heckling and Westbrook “misheard” the comments that were made toward him. Let Shane tell it, he told Russy to “ice his knees” after the game…

The suit goes on to state that Keisel was defamed when Westbrook characterized his comments as racist which eventually led to him being fired from his job after #0’s fans campaigned on social media against him. Keisel also complains that he can’t go out in public because people harass him and his family. Boo-TF-hoo.

Keisel and Huff want a public apology and significant financial damages, according to the suit. The attorneys are seeking $68 million in damages for Keisel and $32 million for Huff on claims of defamation and infliction of emotional distress.

Let us be the first to tell Shane and his woman that they ain’t gettin’ s#!t. Not a dime. It’s also worth pointing out that although Shane is trying to spin his comment as “typical heckling”, the tweets never lie and screenshots never die…

So, yeah, f**k Shane Keisel and the burning cross he rode in on.

LeBron James Talks Pressure To Succeed As Teenager On HBO’s ‘The Shop’

LeBron James has been front-and-center as a basketball star from a VERY young age. That kind of public pressure can be A LOT to deal with when you’re only 13-years-old and everyone has you pegged as the next Michael Jordan.

That said, LeBron has more than surpassed those expectations not only as a basketball player but also as a human being.

On the most recent episode of his hit HBO series The Shop featuring Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Chance The Rapper, CC Sabathia, and Paul Rivera, LeBron talks about what the weight of those expectations felt like and how they affected him.

If you can’t respect that…

Paul Pierce Ordered To Pay $100,000 To Man He Called “Racist”

2019 just gets crazier and crazier every day.

According to TMZ, Paul Pierce has been ordered to pay $100,000 to some clown who was harassing him at the Conor McGregor vs. Khabib fight back in October.

Christopher Mostello is seen in the above video having a confrontation with Pierce who claims that the overeager security guard has giving him a hard time while trying to get back to his seat. Subsequently, Pierce called Mostello a racist.

Mostello claims the former NBA baller had gotten out of pocket and physical with a female security guard and he stepped in to address the situation.

The video went viral and Mostello says he’s suffered damage to his good name by way of public embarrassment, harassment and ridicule. The judge ordered Pierce to appear but never heard from him, so the default judgment of $100,000 was awarded to the security guard.

The idea of paying a white authority figure who has been accused of a racially-motivated abuse of power is trash, but why the HELL didn’t Paul show up to court???

Masin Elije Says Dwight Howard Threatened & Harassed Him Over Alleged Relationship

The social media star who sued Dwight Howard for assault and more after he said their alleged relationship went sour has pleaded with a judge not to throw the case out.

Just weeks after Howard accused Masin Elije of not responding to the case, Elije filed court papers that certify he handed over evidence that proved their alleged relationship to Howard so that the case can go to trial.

He also filed the motion that he says proves that he has served the NBA star with the lawsuit, something Howard alleged that he never did. According to court papers obtained by BOSSIP, Elije said he’d been trying to serve Howard with his lawsuit for more than six months and believed Howard was purposely evading his service attempts. However, Elije said he hired a special process server who eventually tracked Howard down.

Elije, who recently authored the novel, “Industry Hoe,” also filed paperwork showing that he’s complying with Howard’s demand for evidence, countering Howard’s contention that Elije has stopped responding to the case.

Simply put, Elije wants the case to move forward and have his day in court.

We exclusively revealed that Elije sued Howard earlier this year for alleging that Howard began harassing and threatening him online and by phone when he refused Howard’s request to sign a nondisclosure agreement about an alleged relationship.

Elije also made explosive claims that Howard “was in everyone raw” at “transgender sex parties,” and that he had an “understanding” with a “transgender prostitute,” according to court papers obtained by BOSSIP.

Howard countersued Elije for $10 million, saying he doesn’t know him and accused him of trying to use Howard for social media clout and to drum up support for the book “Industry Hoe.” He said he’s suffered “severe emotional distress,” physical and mental harm as a result of Elije’s claims, his legal docs state.

A judge has yet to rule on the case.

Chris Webber To Make Peace With University Of Michigan

For better or worse, Chris Webber is a legendary part of the University of Michigan’s basketball program. “The Fab 5”, Webber, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, and Ray Jackson, were one of the most exciting teams to ever play in college sports across the board.

In the years since, Chris Webber has been persona non grata, not for the infamous timeout that the called in the national championship game against North Carolina, but more for the booster scandal that got him banned for 10 years.

TMZ caught up with Webber at the airport and asked about the prospect of returning to the school now that Juwan Howard is the head coach.

It will be great to see Chris back in the maize and blue.

Kevin Hart Meets Mark Cuban For The Latest Episode Of “Cold As Balls” (Video)

Kevin Hart has slowly been returning to work since his life-threatening car wreck at the top of the summer. Kevin gave us a small glimpse into his recovery process via Instagram but nothing comes close to the amount of work he’s had waiting on him. Kevin was in the middle of several stand up deals, a new Netflix documentary, and several movies. On top of that, his Heartbeat Productions and Studio business had several projects on their hands. They are a content house that cranks out content back to back. One of their top shows features Kevin “Cold As Balls“. Its a show that features Kevin Hart submerged in the ever so cold ice bath alongside a fellow celebrity for a short form interview. In the past, Kevin has had CEOs, comedians, athletes, rappers, and people from all works of life.

Kevin’s kicked off season three of the show and his most recent episode features none other than Dallas Mavericks owner/ Sharktank host Mark Cuban. Mark Cuban created the first-ever streaming platform which steamed from him just trying to discover a way to broadcast sports games. That idea would lead him straight to being a billionaire. Perhaps the best part of Mark becoming a billionaire is unlike other wealthy people everyone one of his former employees were granted shares of the company before the sale. During the interview, the two get “Cold As Balls” while covering a range of topics. Cuban discusses how he acquired the Dallas Mavericks NBA team for an insane $285 million dollars. The interview is full of gems as Cuban also peels back and explains to Kevin how he took an $8,000 investment and flipped it over and over to be able to buy the Mavericks. The two also discuss the obstacles he faced one taking over the franchise. Perhaps the most surprising aspect of the interview was Mark Cuban discussing his friendship with Donald Trump and how the pair had a falling out.

Below you can get the details on that and more via the full episode from Heartbeat Studios/ Youtube.

Daddy Duties: Dwyane Wade Responds To The Trolls Scrutinizing His Thanksgiving Family Photo

Dwyane Wade Reacts To Negative Comments About His Son On Social Media

Dwyane Wade will do anything for his family. Just a few days after he spoke out in support of his wife following her firing from America’s Got Talent, he’s setting the record straight for anyone who fixes their keyboard to make negative comments about his son, Zion.

Gabrielle Union posted a family photo over Thanksgiving to convey her gratitude for the show of support surrounding her AGT debacle. But instead of support, this shot of the Wade fam ended up sparking some more drama for the celebrity couple, all thanks to trolls mocking Wade’s 12-year-old son Zion for rocking fake nails and a crop top.

Many people across social media ended up taking issue with Zion’s appearance, also criticizing Wade and Union for letting him rock fake nails. This is an issue that seems to come up every single time they share a photo of the 12-year-old on social media, but just as the couple always does, Dwyane and Gabrielle are all about supporting their children and making sure they feel seen.

Luckily, the former basketball star also received a lot of love from fans, thanking him for being such an open-minded, loving father. He retweeted a few of the people saying positive things before making a separate statement about the trolls and their reactions to his innocent family photo.

“I’ve chosen to lead my family not y’all,” the retired baller wrote. “So we will continue to be us and support each other with pride, love & smile!”

He added, “as a parent my only goal is that my kids feel that I see them, love them and support them.”

Time and time again, Dwyane Wade continues to handle these situations surrounding his family with class. We absolutely love to see it.

Gall Don’t Lie: Clippers Benchwarmin’ Bozo Baller Patrick Patterson “Apologizes” For Calling Black Woman A “Bulldog”

Patrick Patterson For Calling Black Woman “Bulldog”

Kanye West has completely sullied his legacy with his “slavery was a choice” shenanigans but the lyric “When he get on, he leave yo’ a$$ for a white girl” will live on long after he, Donald Trump and Joel Osteen have gone to meet their maker, white Jesus.

Enter Los Angeles Clippers baller Patrick Patterson. If you’ve never heard of him, don’t feel bad. There are millions of people hearing his name for the very first time this morning and not because he drained a game-winning basket.

Happy New Year 🎉

A post shared by Patrick Patterson (@pdpatt) on

Patrick got into a tiff with an Instagram user this weekend after posting a pic of himself and his white wife. The user, a Black woman, commented that if Patterson wasn’t a pro athlete, his white wife would never have married him.

The sedentary Gatorade-drinker replied: “so I should go blind looking at u instead? no thank u”. That set off an avalanche of righteous indignation under the comment that eventually lead an insecure and self-victimized Patterson to respond with the following:

“so I should settle for a bulldog and act like I’m happy with my life and preach “keep it in your race” to the world as if Dr. King didn’t fight/die for equality, acceptance, all cultures loving one another, and no hate? no thanks. that may be your life but I don’t want that for mine or my family. color doesn’t matter. wake up.”

Big. Ol. Yikes. Might as well have just called the lady a b!tch. Bulldog? Who says that?? Smfh.

Later yesterday evening, Patrick realized that he needed a clean up on aisle 5 and returned to the scene of the crime to drop off what he hopes is exculpatory evidence.

Tuh.

It should be noted that through 15 NBA games this season Patrick Patterson is averaging 4.5 points-per-game and is only shooting 36.5% from the field. We say that to say Pat clearly isn’t a great shooter and it stands to reason that Becky-with-the-good-hair probably shot her shot first to secure the swirly bag.

Washington Wizards Star Jordan McRae’s Baby Mama Countersues Him In Child Custody Case (Exclusive)

Son’s Mother Denies NBA Star’s Claims That He Can Provide A Better Life For Son

NBA player Jordan McRae’s son’s mother has fired back at his custody grab after the woman sued him over child support for the boy.

Tierra Greene filed court papers last week asking a judge to dismiss her former lover’s custody lawsuit against her over their tween son. Greene also countersued McRae, claiming that his reasons why he should have the boy instead of her have nothing to do with her parenting.

Greene said the Washington Wizards player never properly served her on the case, and the case’s jurisdiction was wrong because she and the boy live in another county.

Georgia native McRae sued his son’s mother Greene for primary custody of their tween son in September 2019, arguing that the move was in the child’s best interests.

McRae, 28, argues that he’s in a “better position financially and physically” to care for little Jahiem, who’ll be nine in November. He said in court papers that he wants Greene to have consistent parenting time but asked that she pay him child support when the boy is in his care.

He said he’s supported the boy since he was born and has parented him consistently during his life. McRae also admits that he filed the suit only after Greene sued him for child support for the boy, court papers obtained by BOSSIP state.

A judge has yet to rule on the case.
