It’s hard to think of anyone who had a better year than Lil Nas X.
At the top of the year, his song “Old Town Road” began its journey of becoming the biggest song of 2019, and now, the star is still doing big things with his newfound fame. This week, the rapper stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden–but that night, it was being guest-hosted by Chance The Rapper.
On the couch, Lil Nas X gets into how huge of a year he’s had, what’s coming up next for him in 2020, and more. Check out the interview down below to see what the young star has to say:
According to reports from TMZ, the rappers car got broken into while he was eating at a Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen right outside of Atlanta, Georgia. The read passenger side window of Boosie’s Bentley SUV was smashed to oblivion, which is where the perp is assumed to have taken $70K worth of jewelry from the vehicle.
The break-in was reported to the police by a man named Brian Wilcott, who said he saw a younger-looking black male by the car reaching into the back window. Wilcott–also known as the rapper B-Will–works with Boosie and told cops that he tried to chase down the alleged perp, but a suspect jumped into a waiting car and fled the scene.
B-Will says, according to the police report, that 3 pieces of his jewelry were stolen, which includes a “super bowl style” diamond ring valued at $10,000, a large rose gold one with the diamond letters “BOSSMAN” valued at $10,000, and a rose gold Cuban link chain with diamonds valued at $50,000.
Even though B-Will reportedly told cops that the stolen jewelry is his, as TMZ points out, we know Boosie has a “BOSSMAN” ring–even ranting on social media about it getting stolent and threatening the suspects.
According to police, surveillance footage from the restaurant shows two black males dressed in all black messing with Boosie’s car, which ended up setting off the alarm.
After a bunch of back and forth that included postponing dates and changing details, the Chicago native decided to axe his upcoming shows completely. He made the announcement on his Instagram page, apologizing to fans who already purchased tickets and promising to “come back much stronger in 2020.”
“Hey guys I’ve decided to cancel the Big Tour,” the rapper wrote. “I know it sucks and its been a lot of back and forth with reschedules and rerouting, but it’s for the best. I’m gonna take this time to be with family, make some new music and develop my best show to date. I’m deeply sorry to anyone with a ticket who has supported me this past decade by coming to a show and rocking out with me and I feel even worse for anyone who was planning on making this their first Chance concert.”
Unfortunately for both the rapper and his fans, this tour seems like it was kind of doomed from the beginning.
After the release of his debut album The Big Day over the summer, Chance shared with fans that he would be kicking off The Big Tour a few months later in September. But after the birth of his second child, he ended up rescheduling the tour’s launch for January of 2020 following two hometown shows at the tail end of September.
While some fans have pointed to low tickets sales as a possible reason for Chance cancelling his tour, the guy did just have a baby, so we should probably cut him some slack.
Two Of Future’s Alleged Baby Mama’s Team Up To Prove Paternity
Without willing participation from Future himself, it looks like Eliza Reign found a clever way to try and prove that the rapper is the father of her baby.
In August, the model filed a lawsuit that claimed Future was the father of her baby girl, demanding child support and offering the rapper a relationship with her daughter. But unfortunately for Reign, she didn’t quite get the response she wanted. The rapper replied by attempting to impose a gag order against her and denying his paternity completely.
Only a few months later, another woman by the name of Cindy Parker also filed legal documents against the rapper, claiming that he is the father of her three-month-old son, Legend Ary Wilburn. While Future reportedly agreed to a DNA test this time, Parker went on to claim that he went on to ghost her instead.
Eliza has been trolling Future on social media for months now, with the rapper continuously pretending like she doesn’t exist–but now that she’s seemingly got some pretty hard evidence that Future is the father, maybe he’ll take these paternity claims more seriously.
The saga continues and Eliza’s STILL petty. She added this “allegedly” meme to her account.
Wale Walks Through 10 Things He Can’t Live Without
When it comes to life on the road, there are always a few things that every musician needs with them at all times. As for Wale, his list is kept pretty simple.
Wale has 10 things that he can’t live without on an everyday basis, and like most of us, that includes things like his iPhone, waller, some lotion, and a hair tie. But beside those pretty predictable essentials, the rapper does have a few wildcards he takes with him everywhere.
Check out the video down below to see what you can always fine Wale with when he’s on tour:
Even after taking a jab at their own individual solo albums, the members of the Migos crew are still out here trying new things. Now, one of the trio’s members is making his way toward movies.
An upcoming horror flick titled The Resort is going to be produced by Quavo.
Last night, the rapper ended up announcing to fans that he had just finished watching a cut of the production, which just so happens to mark the first horror movie to which he’s contributed a producer credit.
“Wow Jus WATCH MY FIRST HORROR FILM I PRODUCED,” he tweeted. “The Resort Coming Soon.”

On Tuesday, J. Cole announced that the next installment of the festival will be going down on April 4th, 2020. The whole thing goes down once again at Dorothea Dix Park and as always, Cole himself will be the one hand-picking the lineup of talent set to perform for the weekend. The acts are expected to be announced sometime early next year.
“On behalf of the Dreamville team, we couldn’t be more proud to announce the festival’s return to Raleigh and the beautiful state of North Carolina,” Ibrahim “IB” Hamad, President of Dreamville Records and Cole’s manager, said in a statement. “Being able to experience firsthand the positive and substantial impact that this festival made in the local community was a humbling experience and something I hope we can continue to build upon for years to come.”
Along with the announcement of the festival was news that tickets will be going on sale Wednesday at noon over at dreamvillefest.com.
At last year’s inaugural Dreamville Festival, the park saw more than 40,000 attendees and featured performances from the likes of 21 Savage, Nelly, SZA and more. In 2020, a portion of proceeds from ticket sales will be given to the Dreamville Foundation and the Dorothea Dix Park Conservancy program.
Next year’s festival is sure to be one for the books following the release of Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III compilation project, which dropped back in July.
While he’s on the couch, the actor talks about those infamous photos that surfaced of him at Kid Cudi’s birthday dinner with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Eminem Responds To Nick Cannon’s “The Invitation” Diss Track
Monday morning started off with a bang as Nick Cannon fired off a diss track, “The Invitation,” toward Eminem–which was in response to insults sent his way during Em’s recent verse on Fat Joe’s “Lord Above.” Now, things are coming full circle as the latter responds to the claims on Cannon’s track with a couple of tweets.
In the diss track–which also features Suge Knight, Hitman Holla, Charlie Clips, and Prince Eazy–Nick says one line in particular that seems to have caught Eminem’s attention.
“I heard your chauffeur got a video of you sucking a c**k//You paid him off then laid him off, now who really the opps.”
He responded to that line and the track in general with a pair of tweets.
U mad bro? Stop lying on my dick. I never even had a chauffeur, you bougie f*ck.
Unsurprisingly, this whole beef seems to be over their respective past relationships with Mariah Carey…even though it’s been 5 years since her split from Cannon and more than 10 since she was linked to Eminem.
This whole saga picked up again after Slim Shady mocked Cannon on Fat Joe’s latest album, Family Ties, rapping the following on “Lord Above”:
“I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note/But that other dude’s whipped, that p***y got him neutered/Tried to tell him this chick’s a nut job before he got his jewels clipped/Almost got my caboose kicked, fool, quit, you not gon’ do shit/I let her chop my balls off too, ‘fore I lost to you, Nick.”
And if you’re wondering why Eminem randomly referenced Nick Cannon on a song all these years later, that came following the Power 106 host’s appearance on TI’s ExpediTIously podcast, where he said he was ready to confront Em over his song “The Warning.”
Following Eminem’s response tweets, Cannon was doing his best to egg him on–probably in hopes of another diss track coming back in his direction.
Fuck Apologies! Pull Up!! Bring your gardener, chauffeur, your male nurse and whoever else you’re fucking!! https://t.co/576yS7vhZX
Lil Nas X Reveals That He Struggles Emotionally Behind-The-Scenes
Even though Lil Nas X has only been in the spotlight for a short amount of time, it looks like the fame is already getting to him. We’re used to seeing the “Old Town Road” singer as the happy-go-lucky guy who’s constantly posting memes all over social media–but even those who don’t seem to take life so seriously have their dark moments.
Shortly after news broke that Juice Wrld tragically passed away at only 21-years-old, Lil Nas X took to Twitter to have a heart-to-heart with his fans. He started out by tweeting a “RIP” message for the fellow artist before going into his own personal struggles.
rip juice. so sad how often this is happening lately to young talented rising artists.
“I usually deal with my sad times in private because i don’t like for my fans or family to feel sorry for me,” Nas began. “This year had a lot of very high ups and extremely low downs. when u get to that hotel room and it’s just you, you do a lot of thinking. small things become so BIG.”

He goes on to speak about his outward appearance, recognizing that he’s good at acting like nothing ever gets to him–but obviously, that’s not entirely true. The rapper followed up his previous tweet, writing,
“I like to pretend hate and s**t don’t get to me, but subconsciously it eats away at me. feeling like u have the world and knowing it can all go away at any time is scary.” After reflecting on his own journey, he delivered a message to anyone reading his tweets: “With all this being said i want anybody who cared enough to read this to just live in the moment. love u guys”

While Lil Nas X opening up about his emotional struggles seems like something we’re not used to seeing from him, the singer has become known for his ability to always keep it real with his fans–which is great, knowing he has a lot of young followers going through similar struggles.
It just goes to show you that even the most positive celebrities are dealing with struggles we’re not even aware of every single day.
