Freddie Gibbs & Madlib Grab Eric Andre For Hilarious “Half Manne Half Cocaine” Visual

Freddie Gibbs and Madlib are still standing as strong album of the year contenders with Bandana. The follow-up to 2014’s Pinata didn’t disappoint and even managed to exceed the expectations he set with its predecessor. The rapper-producer duo didn’t just deliver an incredible album but the major label budget clearly set them up to create some incredible visuals.

Gibbs and Madlib concluded their trilogy of videos with “Half Manne Half Cocaine.” With an appearance from Eric Andre, Gibbs wakes up from a coma 10 years after the plug attempted to kill him in the “Giannis” music video. Freddie Gibbs wake up with a beard and a head-full of hair before Eric Andre sets Gangsta Gibbs up with a sniper rifle and a duffle bag full of cocaine and grenades.

According to Madlib’s manager, Egon, “Half Manne Half Cocaine” is the finale to the story that initially kicked off with “Crime Pays.” Hopefully, that doesn’t mean that this is the last visual to come from Bandana. Gibbs truly outdid himself with the visuals for this project. Perhaps Montana will drop with its own feature-length film.

Wiz Khalifa Keeps The Hot Streak Going With “Neighbors”

Wiz Khalifa’s been dropping new music every day for nearly two weeks now. The rapper’s daily drop has been filled with gems that show glimpses of what we could expect from him in the future, and truthfully, it’s promising. Nothing’s really sounded like the radio hits he aims to make on his albums but going back to flow reminiscent of his earlier days.

Wiz dropped off his new single, “Neighbors” earlier today. The rapper jumps on a spacey, smoked out instrumental as he touches on his typical topics: weed, weather, and money. It’s braggadocious, fun, and short, which has been the premise of much of the loose tracks he’s released recently.

This could possibly be the lead up to another project dropping sometime soon but it wouldn’t be shocking if Wiz decided to re-charge for the remainder of 2019 and come back strong in 2020.

Quotable Lyrics
Now, all my n***as ridin’ with me, and rollin’ dank up
I keep a bad bitch with me, a money maker
And if you fuck with her, she a heartbreaker
And if she got a bad friend, we all neighbors

Dennis Rodman Puts Kevin Durant On Blast For Being “Selfish:” Watch

Dennis Rodman is a former NBA player who always says exactly how he feels. This has made him a beloved figure when it comes to fan appreciation and on Wednesday, he appeared on ESPN’s The Jump. Rodman appeared alongside his former Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen and was asked about some recent comments by Kevin Durant. Essentially, Durant said he wanted out of Golden State because he never felt like he was part of the team. As you can imagine, Rodman didn’t take too kindly to that.

“I think it’s very selfish of KD, seriously,” Rodman said.

The notorious rebounder continued by saying Durant should just embrace his role wherever he goes and that he passed up on a huge opportunity to win more rings in San Francisco.

“I just don’t understand. I don’t understand why he would even come out and say something like that,” Rodman said. “I mean, embrace it. … I enjoyed it. I didn’t care who was the leader. I didn’t care who was the leading force, who was this and this, I just wanted to be a part of it. I wanted to win. I wanted to impact the city, I wanted to make people happy.”

Do you agree with Rodman or is he being too harsh on KD? Let us know in the comments below.

R. Kelly No-Show In Minnesota Sex Solicitation Case, Arrest Warrant Issued

Most people think R. Kelly should be locked up, including the judge in his federal case, but he’s still a wanted man in other states. According to TMZ, an arrest warrant was issued for him after he failed to show up in court in Minnesota for another sex crimes case. Kelly was scheduled to have a hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Hennepin County Court but because he was locked up, he wasn’t able to make it. In Minnesota, he’s facing two charges of engaging in prostitution with someone under 18 and soliciting someone for sexual contact.

Kelly’s currently locked up in Chicago at the MCC where he’s being held on federal sex crimes. The D.A.’s office in Minnesota said that the prosecutors on the case are well-aware that he’s locked up in Illinois. Federal prosecutors in Illinois have told them that they won’t release R. Kelly until the federal case is done with. Nonetheless, the judge decided to issue a bench warrant.

Ultimately, it seems like Kelly won’t be seeing freedom in the near future. Even if he manages to dodge the federal charges, there are other states where he’s charged with crimes.

Kelly’s attorney, Steven Greenberg, clearly isn’t impressed by any of this. “They never came to get him, wtf was he supposed to do, telepathically transport himself?” He said in response to the bench warrant.

Chance The Rapper Says Cardi B & Nicki Minaj Beef Was Likely “Produced”

The beef between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj is still a hot topic these days but it would be nice if we could all just get along for once. At first, the feud seemed like it was fan fiction until things got messy between the two publicly. But according to Chance The Rapper, who’s worked with both artists, the beef between Nicki and Cardi B, like most rap feuds, was “curated.”

Chance The Rapper sat down with Big Boy where he was asked about his relationship with Cardi B and Nicki Minaj. After explaining how he got on Invasion Of Privacy, he detailed how much of what we see in the music industry has been manufactured to create buzz.

“A lot of that stuff is produced,” he told Big Boy. “Everything is curated before we get to see it. Like all the information, the way they phrase it to us, the way that, you know, they pit people against [each other]… It’s made for you to, like, accept in a certain way. So like, a lot of people had to choose a side.”

He added, “I don’t want to speak for them at all but, like, to a certain extent, they got pushed into that too. And I don’t think all of that was a 100% their feelings.”

Ice T’s “Too Old For The Dumb Shit” Is Another Chapter Of His Visual Experience

These days, it’s hard to find remnants of gangsta rap as we once knew it. Luckily, the legendary Ice-T remains active, and has shown no signs of turning his back on the style he helped formulate. Now, he’s ready to drop off the latest chapter of his ongoing audio-visual saga with “Too Old For The Dumb Shit,” a continuation of the tale he kicked off with “Feds In My Rearview.”

At this stage of his career, Ice has been in the game for so long that some people only know him is Finn Tutuola off Law And Order. Don’t get it twisted – Ice helped start this gangsta shit we all know and love. This time around, Ice expands on his narrative as the story unfolds, highlighting an interesting dichotomy: with the lavish lifestyle of a don comes an equal amount of stress, betrayal, and hardship. Is it worth it? Especially once the friends turn to snakes and the money slowly reddens from the pooling blood. Check out “Too Old For Dumb Shit” now, and show some love to the mighty Ice T, one of hip-hop’s enduring figures.

Usher’s Herpes Accuser Drops Lawsuit Against Him: Report

Over the past two years, Usher’s faced some alarming allegations of sexual abuse. Although he’s denied that there’s any truth to these accusations, he’s still been in-and-out of court trying to settle things with his accusers. You may remember Quantasia Sharpton, the woman who accused the singer of infecting her with herpes. She hired famed lawyer Lisa Bloom to represent her in the case. However, it appears as though Usher is now in the clear.

According to The Blast, Quantasia Sharpton has dropped her suit against Usher. It’s unsure if there’s an out-of-court settlement of if Sharpton simply requested decided to dismiss the case against the “Let It Burn” singer.

Sharpton was among three people who sued Usher. A Jane Doe and John Doe also claimed the singer didn’t disclose that he was infected with herpes and proceeded to have sexual relations with them.

Sharpton said that she and Usher had sex on her birthday in Atlantic City after his performance. Although Usher denied the allegations, there have been a few people who’ve corroborated the story as well as footage of Usher bringing Sharpton on stage.

Usher previously attempted to sanction Jane Doe for $2500 after she refused to answer questions during the depositions. Although the judge denied the request, the parties are now debating whether they should go into mediation or take the case to trial.

Chief Keef Seemingly Cuts His Dreads Off But Fans Aren’t Buying It

It’s crazy to think of how long Chief Keef has been in the game. He’s been hustling hard in the music industry since 2011 but he started off extremely young. The Chicago icon is only 24-years-old and he still has so much in front of him. These days, his music isn’t getting played as much as it was in his prime but his output is still ridiculously high, meaning that one song can easily pop and give him that boost he might need. The rapper doesn’t normally make headlines on a daily basis but something he’s hinting at has got his fans asking him for clarification.

Earlier today, the Glo Gang general posted a photo to his social media accounts holding a handful of hair. Since he came up, we’ve known Keef for his long-dreaded hairstyle. Naturally, everybody is assuming that this is the artist’s way of telling us he cut off all his hair. If that’s not the case, then he’s playing around for some quick clout. Still, it worked because everyone in his comments is confused as all hell.

“NAW THIS BEYOND ME I KNOW YOU AINT GOT A BALD FADE BUCKO,” wrote actor HaHa Davis in the comments. Lil Tecca also chimed in, asking for proof that he actually shaved his head. Do you think Chief Keef actually cut off his dreads or is he just messing around?

James Harden Shades Media For Making Giannis Antetokounmpo MVP

Last season in the NBA was a coming-out party of sorts for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. Everyone knew Giannis was a great player but last season he was able to elevate his game to a point where the Bucks had the best record in the regular season. He was neck and neck with James Harden all season for the MVP race and in the end, the Bucks star was able to scoop up the award. Harden and the Houston Rockets didn’t take too kindly to this decision and at times, have shown just how salty they are about it.

In a new interview with GQ, Harden spoke about his MVP snub and how it didn’t make sense for him not to win it. After all, Harden averaged 36.1 points per game and led the league in scoring. While this may be the case, Giannis did more with his team, especially considering he didn’t have a clear second star like Chris Paul.

Per Haden:

“But they [the media] for sure got some teams they locked in on. We all know. That’s just what it is. You can’t tell me that a guy whose team was a 14-seed at one point last year, and ended up a four-seed with everything that was going on—so many injuries—and who went on a 32-game 30-point streak, eight 50-point games, two 60-point games in one season…and all the talk was about [Giannis Antetokounmpo]? There’s no way. I just had to look at what I could do to get better for next year. You can’t pout or be mad, and the kid had an unbelievable season, so did his team. But the things I was putting up were legendary. You going to look back in 10, 15 years from now and be like, is that really true? Did that really happen? That’s some stuff they were doing back when Kareem [Abdul-Jabbar] and all those other guys were playing. But I’m happy. We have a team goal of winning a championship, and I’m ready to get going now.”

It will be interesting to see if Harden is able to continue his offensive success as now, he will have to play with a ball-dominant player like Russell Westbrook. Regardless, both Harden and Giannis will continue to provide us with a steady stream of highlight-reel plays come October.
