Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguez Had A “Beautifully Elegant” Engagement Party This Past Weekend

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez got engaged in March of this year and have made it very clear that there’s no rush to run to the alter, as they want to take their time to make their wedding day right. “We really see this as something that’s gonna be forever, and we’re gonna just take our time and do it right. And do it not rushed,” JLo previously stated

It looks as though the special day may be closer than ever since the couple held their engagement party this past weekend. The event looked to be an intimate gathering of Jennifer and Alex’s children and close family members and friends.

“So great celebrating with family and close friends last night,” ARod captioned an image he posted of the night JLo said was “beautifully elegant.”

“You make my world a more beautiful safe and stable place… in the midst of our ever-changing, ever-moving life… you make me feel like a teenager starting out all over again,” J-Lo previously penned celebrating her and ARod’s two year anniversary. ” Every time I think I have you pegged, you surprise me in the most wonderful ways reminding me how blessed I am to have found you now in this moment at this time.”

Lil Nas X Says He Used To Pray Being Gay Was “Just A Phase” As A Teenager

Lil Nas X is one of the biggest stars in the world right now. The success of “Old Town Road” helped him have the longest-running #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 in the history of the charts. The rapper released his project 7 that included the song “clo7sure” — a song that served as his official coming out announcement. Although there was some backlash, people showed him support and embraced him for being exactly who he is.

In a recent interview with Gayle King, Lil Nas X detailed the struggles he had with coming out and accepting his own sexual identity due to the pressures of being a teenager. King asked the rapper when he initially found out that he was gay. He explained that he knew but it was in his teenage years when it really began impacting him.

“I knew, especially, like, around my teenage, like, years. You know, I would just, like, you know, pray, pray, and pray,” he said. “That it was, like, a phase,” he continued, adding that he wished “it would go away.”

Lil Nas X explained that it was easier being in the position he’s in but not everyone has that privilege. However, he does hope that whatever platform he’s given to speak on will ultimately be able to help anyone else who might be going through the same thing. “We still have a long way to go, because it’s not, like, everybody, is, like, messing with me now,” he said. “Somebody who’s, like, listenin’ to me in school right now, it’s, like, you know, you listening to you’re gay, ’cause you’re listening to him. So it’s, like, there’s still a lot to be done, of course. But I do believe it’s helping.”

Lil Nas X’s full interview with Gayle King airs tomorrow on CBS.

Drake Previews Supreme’s Nike Air Max 95 Collab: First Look

Supreme’s Nike Air Max 95 collection remains somewhat of a mystery, as the trio of limited edition sneakers were originally rumored to debut in June but that date came and went without even a hint of a release.

Since then, the three Supreme Air Max 95s were forgotten – until Drake took to instagram to share a glimpse of one of the colorways.

As seen in the photo above, the kicks come equipped with an all-black, leather construction featuring Supreme’s signature branding done up in black. It was originally believed that the Supreme x Nike Air Max 95 collection would feature Swarovski crystal accents, though it doesn’t look like this leather iteration has any such detailing.

Blue and red versions of the sneaker are rumored to drop alongside the black colorway – it just remains to be seen when they’ll be available.

Netflix Announces Season 4 Of “Stranger Things” & Multi-Year Deal With Duffer Brothers

Earlier in the summer after season three of Stranger Things was binged watched by fans everywhere, Caleb McLaughlin (who stars as Lucas in the show) told the press that season four wasn’t a sure thing. “It’s all up to the Duffers and the writers if they want to keep going,” he said. The creators of the show, Matt and Ross Duffer, have clearly decided to keep things going since Netflix has announced that season four is on the way.

The news comes in the form of a video clip that’s equipped with the right amount of ominous music with text that reads, “We’re not in Hawkins anymore.” Along with a confirmation of season four, the Duffer Brothers also signed a multi-year deal with Netflix to produce more series and movies for the platform.

“From our first pitch meeting to the release of Stranger Things 3, the entire team at Netflix has been nothing short of sensational, providing us with the kind of support, guidance, and creative freedom we always dreamed about,” the brothers said in a statement. “We can’t wait to tell many more stories together — beginning, of course, with a return trip to Hawkins!”

Nipsey Hussle Homage Announced For CW’s “All American” Season 2 Premiere

If you got hooked onto season 1 of CW’s All American, there’s a good chance that you’re itching for the new season to arrive next week. With the October 7th date set for its return, Karen Civil took to Instagram to reveal that there’s a tribute to Nipsey Hussle in the season two premiere. She shared a poster which simply read, “October 7th, We Pay Homage,” in front of an image of Nip.

Karen shared her own tribute in the following post which read, “The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not “get over” the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to.”

The show’s star, Daniel Ezra, used Nipsey Hussle as the inspiration behind his character, Spencer, according to the show’s executive producers. “We are all huge fans of Nipsey on the show and in fact were trying to get him on the show in season one but we couldn’t make the schedules work. Our lead actor, Daniel Ezra, who’s British, has spoken repeatedly about how studying Nipsey was how he crafted the character of Spencer James, right down to the accent,” they said in a statement earlier this year.

Schoolboy Q Asserts That “Druggs Wit H*es Pt. 3” Will Never Be Released

When Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul first stepped onto the scene, they became largely associated with druggy raps. Their mentioning of hard substances in their songs set them apart from fellow TDE artists, Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock. Schoolboy and Soul collaborated on two highly-admired debauchery anthems, “Druggys wit Hoes” and its sequel, “Druggys wit Hoes Again.” The first installment was featured on Schoolboy’s debut album, Setbacks, and the second on his sophomore effort, Habits & Contradictions

At the Los Angeles show for the Oxymoron tour in 2014, Schoolboy brought Soulo on stage to premiere “Druggys wit Hoes Pt. 3.” It resembled “Druggys wit Hoes Again” with its chaotic and dizzying feel. But even then, Schoolboy was starting to feel detached from the narcotic-filled lifestyle that the songs chronicled. Before performing “Pt. 3”, Schoolboy warned the crowd, “I don’t think we are ever going to drop it.”

It has now been five years since that show and fans are still hoping that the official version of the song might surface. Last night, Schoolboy was answering fans’ questions on Twitter and someone naively asked if the song would ever dropped. “I don’t do drug nomo dawg lol it’s neva Happening,” the CrasH Talk rapper reiterated.

Everyone should be happy that Schoolboy Q is sober now and stop pushing for him to revert to a past that he’s been distancing himself from for years.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Announces His Return To SmackDown Live

WWE is pulling out all the stops for SmackDown Live’s debut on FOX this Friday, October 4 – and that includes bringing back The People’s Champ, the most electrifying man in sports entertainment, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

It has long been rumored that The Rock would be among the WWE legends at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for SmackDown’s premiere episode on FOX, and he took to social media on Monday to confirm the reports.

October 4 is also being billed as SmackDown’s 20th anniversary episode, and there will be a plethora of other superstars past and present in attendance. This includes WWE Hall of Famers Kurt Angle, Lita, Mick Foley, Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Trish Stratus, Goldberg, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Mark Henry, Ric Flair, The Undertaker and Sting.

As for the actual in-ring action, the night will be capped off by a WWE Championship match as Kofi Kingston defends his title against Brock Lesnar. Kingston has held the WWE Championship since Wrestlemania 35 in April, when he defeated Daniel Bryan, while Lesnar, who has not had a match on SmackDown since 2004, just recently dropped the Universal Championship to Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.

Other matches on the SmackDown Live card for the FOX debut include Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks & Bayley, Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon in a “Loser Leaves Town” ladder match, and Roman Reigns vs Erick Rowan.

Justin Bieber Thanks Hailey Baldwin’s Parents For Allowing Her To Marry His “Savage” Self

As far as we know, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin already held their wedding ceremony with close friends and family that was said to take place in Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina at the end of September. While we can’t confirm that the special ceremony has taken place since we have no photo evidence, we do know that Justin’s been feeling quite nostalgic since posting a couple of images of him and Hailey from back in the day.

The first share to Justin’s feed is a clear image of when he seemingly just kicked off his career and was a pre-teen pop sensation. The image shows Justin’s former self with his hairdo that resembled bowl-cut bangs and his pre-pubescent face smiling wide next to a very young Hailey. “My wife and I 🙂 where it all began,” he captioned the photo.

The second share was another photo that looked to be from the same evening that involved Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, and her mother, Kennya Baldwin, as well as Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette. “Me and the wife! and the in laws !! Thanks for lettin ur daughter marry a savage like me,” he captioned the photo.

Cheers to the Biebers.

Jussie Smollett Still Insists He’s The Victim Of Alleged Attack

Jussie Smollett’s story was definitely one of the weirder stories that broke out this year. He claimed that he was attacked over his race and sexuality before the tables turned and he was accused of staging the attack for publicity. Ever since then, he’s pretty much been exiled from the entertainment business while many have continued to claim that he’s a liar.

Social media personality Derrick Jaxn is among those who believe that Jussie Smollett was lying this whole time. After cracking a joke about Smollett in TheShadeRoom’s comment section, Smollett clapped back, making it clear that he still stands by his original story.

“With all due respect brother, y’all can clown me all you want but my story has actually never changed and I haven’t lied about a thing,” he wrote. “Y’all can continue to be misinformed, internalized sheep, who believe what actual proven liars feed you or you can read the actual docs. Either way, I’mma be alright. I know me and what happened. You don’t. So carry on. All love.”

Smollett might still be claiming that he was attacked, he’s still facing a lawsuit from the city of Chicago who is suing him over investigation costs. He demanded that the lawsuit is dismissed but more recently, he reportedly threatened to countersue the city of Chicago “for their conduct underlying the arrest and their conduct thereafter.”
