Did You Know J.Lo’s Green Jungle Print Grammy Dress Sparked The Creation Of Google Images

There is not even any question about the FACT that J.Lo’s 2000 Grammys look — a green jungle print Versace number with a PLUNGING neckline was a HUGE moment for her.

The actress recently went on record to tell the story of how she came to wear the dress and the reaction she got when she arrived to the Grammy Awards.

Check it out below:

In the time since that dress made history and according to Lopez, inspired Google to create the Google Images search bar — Lopez has gone on to wear Versace time and time again. In fact, J. Lo reveals in the video that she will be wearing the label yet again to the 2019 Met Gala this May.

But sadly Lopez also revealed that Versace’s longtime designer and tailor Luigi Massi died on April 2.

“I’ve had a long relationship since this green dress with Versace. There was a gentleman named Luigi who was always there with me. He would fit me. He would help design. We had over a 20-year relationship,” Lopez says.

“We heard that he just passed away in the middle of making my Met Ball gown. I was one of the first people they called because he always had such an amazing time creating looks for me,” she says as she started to tear up.

“They know how much I loved him and how much fun we had. You made me feel so beautiful so many times. Your attention to detail, your talent and your love will never be forgotten. Thank you Luigi, we will miss you.”

J.Lo ultimately dedicated the video to Massi, who she remembers as always having a great time with despite the fact that he spoke no English and she spoke no Italian.

Incredible right? The power of fashion. How many amazing things did you learn in this one video?
